The Chairman of the Banadir Regional Administration and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), who paid a working visit to the TurkSom military training camp, met with the camp’s officers and officials, and discussed strengthening security cooperation, enhancing the stability of the capital Mogadishu, and TurkSom’s role in efforts to ensure the city’s security.
The Mayor of Mogadishu heard reports from TurkSom officials on security issues, especially on military training activities, the reconstruction and upgrading of the Somali armed forces, and efforts to support the stability of the capital Mogadishu, affirming their commitment to further strengthening cooperation with the Banadir Regional Administration, to ensure sustainable security and effective services for the public.
The Governor of Banadir Regional Administration and Mayor of Mogadishu and TurkSom officials also discussed plans to support and assist the poor during the upcoming Eid Al-Adha holiday, with an emphasis on supporting vulnerable communities and strengthening the connection between government institutions and the public. The visit of the Governor of Banadir Regional Administration and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), to the TurkSom camp is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between government institutions and security forces, in order to maintain peace, development and social services in the capital, Mogadishu.
